Join our photo campaign and celebrate the positive impact of your child's legal rights

If you want to support us, the best way to help is by joining in with our photo campaign!
Have EHCPs or other SEND legal rights made a huge difference to your child and your family?
Just fill out one of our signs then take a photo or make a video to show how these rights have made a difference to your family. For example, have they:
- Helped your child achieve something once thought impossible?
- Enabled you to challenge decisions at tribunal and get the right support?
- Enabled you or your child to work?
- Allowed you, as a professional, to provide life-changing support?
- Transformed your family's day-to-day life?
How to take part
1. Choose your sign
Download and print one of our templates »
- Page 1: “Because of my legal rights…” - for children, young people, or adults who accessed SEND services when they were younger
- Page 2: “Because of my child's legal rights…” - for parents
- Page 3: “Because of SEND legal rights…” - for other relatives, carers, family members like siblings and professionals
2. Write your message
What's the most powerful impact these rights have had for you or your child? Pick one impactful point if you can
3. Take a photo or video (see tips below)
Hold up your sign and capture a clear photo or make a video telling your story
4. Submit your photo / video
Use the form at the bottom of this page to upload it. You can make more than one sign and upload multiple photos. There's also a few questions that will help inform our campaign
5. Share on social media (optional)
If you'd like to help raise awareness of the campaign, you can share your photo or video on social media. Use the hashtag #SaveOurChildrensRights and include a link to this page if possible
Photo Tips
- Use a bold pen and large writing so your message is easy to read
- Keep it short so we can read it easily (e.g. “I learned to talk” or “I am back in school”)
- It's okay to cover your / your child's face with the sign if you wish - totally your choice!
- Portrait (upright) photos work best, with some space around the edge
Your photo could help protect the legal rights that make stories like yours possible.
